| The study analysis the chemical and physical character of fly ash.The experiments of thisstudy consist of static absorption experiments and dynamic absorption experiments. The timeof saturation absorption of fly ash is 2.5h. And the absorption isothermal formula, which ofthe fly ash treating municipal waste water, is q=0.435c0.576.In the process of static absorption, the COD removal rate is markedly influenced by theconcentration of waste water and the grain size of fly ash. And the quantity of fly ash alsoinfluences the removal rate ,but not markedly. The best condition of static absorption is: theconcentration of waste water is 87.63mg/L, the grain size of fly ash is 0.056-0.074mm, thequantity of fly ash is 4g/50ml. In this condition the COD removal rate is 89.1%.In the process of dynamic absorption, the COD removal rate is influenced by the currentvelocity of waste water is very markedly. And the influence of grain size is marked. But theinfluence of volume ratio, which is between fly ash and waste water, is not marked.The bestcondition of dynamic absorption as follows: the current velocity is 4ml/min, the grain size is0.048mm-0.056mm, the volume ratio is 1:1.25. In this condition, the COD removal rate is96.5%.In the best technical condition, which is choiced by experiments, the COD removal rateis nearly 96.5%. This kind of worked water can be used to as virescence water, wash car andwater closet. |
