During work, the phenomena of collision between rollers, vibration of rollers, the failure of bearings and the break of shaft, sometimes occur, which have bad influences on the quality of product and the function of the whole machine.Based on relevant references, considering the problems mentioned above and the complex structure and working conditions, this paper systematically establish the analytical models of the working rollers and its bearings, and the optimized support scenario for the whole performance.1) Making use of the singular function and the Laplace transform, the deformation analysis models of beam with multi-supports and variable cross-sections are established. Under the multi-type forces such as the belt's effect, the gravity, the inertia and the effect of that textile, the roller will bend in the tangent and normal direction of the drum, and twist about its axis. With these models, the maximum deformation, stress and reactions of those bearings can be figured out.2) According to the working conditions, the vibration model of the beam with variable cross-sections is built. The motion of the rollers belongs to planet-motion, so the real rotational speed will reach its first critical speed at which the roller will produce large attitude of bending. This large deformation can result in the decrease of their bearings' service life and collisions between them. With this model, the fist five natural frequencies and their corresponding vibration mode will be known. Because of the complicated structure, the model of the roller with multi-supports will be set up in the Ansys8.1 environment. These models have high accuracy and efficiency tested by the frequency spectrum analysis of the rollers.3) Based on the previous analysis, the analytic model for the bearings service life is built. During the work cyclic, the bearing's load is the function of time. Using the relevant formula of ball bearing, the roller's bearings service life can be anticipated.4) The parameters reflecting the roller system's behavior are raised, with which an optimized model about the positions of those ball bearings and belt-wheel is built and solved with the software of Matlab7.0. The result is helpful for the design of the drum and rollers.5) Based on those models mentioned above, the analysis platform for raising machines is developed by use of Matlab6.5 and put into practice in some enterprise. The optimized solution for the positions of ball bearings is adopted to improve the performance of raising machine.
