West W13 area of Zhongyuan oilfield is a typical reservoir which is deep imbedded, low permeability, high pressure. In this paper, west W13 area is selected as a researching aim. Beginning from shortages of Wen13 area which are serious wells damaged, imperfect i/p system, complicated structure, low water flooding effect in complicated area, uniform water flooding effect in s3z5~7, enriched remaining oil in s3z8 and s3z9 and applying modern reservoir geologic, well logging, well test, production data to describe reservoir and remaining oil distribution, basing on these works, mainly adjustable methods are developed. 1. Applying many methods to avalue reservoir, the result is more reasonable than that of 1995, and the works make current data of physical property fit reservoir development. 2. The effects of directionless pressure to physical property of reservoir was introduced into field development, by these works, the injecting time and pressure holding method can be grasped. 3. A new method that applying water injection profile data to researching interlayer inhomogeneity effect water flooding was introduced. 4. Geological reserves was revalued by many subjects and methods, the reserves of s3z8~9 was increased from 224×10~4t to 293×10~4t. The development bidding were improved by splitting the production in the light of well and layer. 5. According to the characters of low permeability reservoir, the modified, big scale, thick grids numerical simulation technique was advanced. 6. The relation between sedimentary and remaining oil distribution was researched, in these works, a method used to value remaining oil distribution classified from layer to series of strata was introduced. 7. A new adjustable way was developed first time which use cluster well to decrease drilling cost and increase benefit in deep imbedded, low permeability, high pressure reservoir.
