The Liuxi No.10 Fault Block Field, located in the central-north of Lixian slope in the middle portion of Jizhong trough,is now in the late development phase with middle-high water cut.The interior fault blocks in the field have a variety of oil reservoir types due to different structural locations and different sedimentary microfacies. In the east of the field, the structural oil pool is dominated with strong interbedded and intrabedded heterogeneity. In the center and west of the field, the lithological oil pool is dominated with relatively poor reservoir physical properties.Currently, the well spacing is relatively wide, and water cannot be injected into the formation and oil cannot be produced. So it is challenging to maintain a stable production due to some problems, such as rapidly ascending water cutting, hard swabbing and interbedded interference. This study conducts some effective research work,on the basis of geological and development characteristics of Liuxi No.10 fault block, including oil reservoir description, remaining oil distribution, and integrated treatments, etc.,which is significant to improve the reserve recovery degree and development effectiveness for the similar types of oil reservoirs.Focusing on the major upper portion of Es3 section in Liuxi No.10 Fault Block Field, this study conducts fine oil reservoir descriptions to 3-level geological units including oil zone, sublayer and sand body.It also quantitatively predicts the remaining oil distribution of individual sand bodies and the potential areas by building 3D geological models and performing numerical simulation analysis. It makes aggregate adjustment plans for the development of the field and it turns out that the results are encouraging. This study obtains obvious recognitions to individual oil-controlling sand bodies and conducts fine stratigraphic correlation and subdivision to 2 oil zones,6 sublayers and 13 sand bodies involving 140 wells. It has been confirmed about the structural geometry and space distribution of 13 individual sand bodies by using microstructure techniques and sedimentary microfacies subdivision techniques. On the basis of drilling geological data and production performance data,in combination with structure-imaging of sublayers and geological modeling of reservoir properties, this study makes clear of the oil and water relationship of sand bodies in between wells, and makes relatively certain prediction to distributions of the sand bodies of the rest areas between wells. This study conducts quantitative prediction to remaining oil of Liuxi No.10 fault block by applying numerical simulation technique in combination with production performance analysis. It concludes that there are some recoverable potential of the remaining oil in the upper portion of Es3 oil zone including?1-1-?3?,?1-3-?2?and?1-4-?1?and?2 oil zone,specifically,?2-1-?1?although they have relatively high reserve recovery degree, the microfacies is dominated by beach sands and channel sands and the reservoir physical properties are relatively good.
