Study On Ethical Countermeasures Of Ecological Environment Problems In Ningxia

In the modern age, environmental degradation is becoming an urgent issue to be dealt with. With the large-scale development of the western region as the background of the research, this paper, based on underpinning of ethic and applied ethics, probes into the causes of the environmental problems in attempt to find out countermeasures from a angle of applied ethnics by first centering on the problem of ecological environment.The paper consists of four chapters:Chapter one is an introduction. The chapter begins with the research background, followed by reasons of adopting the theories of ethics and applied ethics to study as well as causes of making such a study on ecology and environment in Ningxia. The aim is to seek for a way for human beings and the nature to coexist through the study of ecological ethics.Chapter two is the summary of the present situation of administration division, population distribution and natural resource of Ningxia, which are the essential elements of ecological research. Apart from this, the paper also explores the vicissitudes of the ecological environment.Chapter three expatiates the major environmental issues from five perspectives; soil and water losses, desertification of land and environment pollution. These measures are put forward from four aspects: first, to develop the competence of achieving sustainable development, and it is viewed as the key to realize sustainable development. Second, to protect environment by the law and guarantee harmonious development of society and economy. Third, to strengthen the ethic education and training of ecological environment so as to build a "green" educational belief of protecting environment. Forth, to renovate the construction of ecological environment with the final goal of rebuilding a place in north of the Great Wall, which is as beautiful as south of Yangtz River and create a harmonious living state for human and the nature.
