The Linear Rolling Guide system, after its introduction about twenty years and more ago, has been common step by step, and been mature in structure. As a newly functional part, it has also provided some advantages such as simple structure, small static and dynamic fictional co-efficient, excellent maintainability, perfect stiffness, high setting accuracy, good carrying capacity, and good stability of high precision. However, not enough theoretical research about it has been reported, for NC machine tool, in recent years the Linear Rolling Guide system has been widely used in many kinds of producing machines and semiconductor manufacture facility. So it is very significant to research all sorts of performance and analyze application of engineering of Linear Rolling Guide. At first, for all kinds of performance of Linear Rolling Guide, such as stiffness, expectancy, anti-compacting, reliability of precision and so on, have been discussed. Affection of different grooves'geometry in performance has been importantly analyzed, and it also vital evidence to select Linear Rolling Guide. According to tests, performance under effect of vertical load, side load, and moment has been analyzed; practical evidence is provided for rightly using Linear Rolling Guide. Linear Rolling GuideËŠs dynamic property, frictional resistance, stability of action directly affect working precision according to experimental result.
