Ozone has strong oxidation character whether it is dissolved in water or in air. It has a good zoology entironment domino effect beside disinfection , removing stink, decoloration and chemistry oxidation .It has merits which are unparauded. Ozone can not be storaged .It should be produced when it is needed. The ozone generator is equipped where ozone is used. The efficiency of tubular ozone generator is influenced by many factors which include feeding gas, power supply, structure of tubular ozone cell and cooling system. Being a fundamental and crucial part of ozone generator, tubular ozone cell whose capability directly affects the efficiency of ozone generator contains high scientific and technological contents and it is hard to be researched and developed. To produce utilitarian tubular ozone cell with high ozone output and simple structure is a essential step to research large and medium scale ozone generator.This paper analyses the different classifies of DBD(Dielectric barrier discharge) tubular ozone generator and the characteristic of different structure tubular ozone generators. By summarizing the efficiency of ozone generator of different structures and different dielectrics, and the merits and flaws of different tubular component, the basic characteristic design measures of tubular ozone cell are studied. In this paper, the design proposal of ozonizer with 100g/h by one cell is raised, and structural design and testing cell are done through choosing dielectrics and ensuring the size. The point of this paper is to discuss in detail ozone cell electrical character , the form of discharge and the choosing of dielectrics in theory. At the same time, the matching character of inverter is studied too. Through the academic and testing analysis, the tubular ozone cell which is designed by this paper can produce ozone by lOOg/h, and the best parameters of corresponding high voltage pulse power is that the peak value of voltage is about 25 kV, the frequency of power is about 1000 Hz. At last, the developing prospect related subjects is predicted.
