After fixing the basic ingredient, the changes of matrix microstructure and carbide of high chromium cast iron and the effect on performance were studied with different content of V was added. By reforming the experiment machine the variety regulation of the wear resistance was analyzed and the ditches were observed to further analyze the wear mechanism of high chromium cast iron. The application of the method of single pendulum impact was studied. The experimental result indicates: the distribution and appearance of the carbide of the high chromium cast iron can be improved and the hardness as well as the toughness can be matched excellently by adding V ﹑ Ti appropriately so as to increase the wear resistance; it is an attempt of using available experiment equipment to imitate and simplify the actual work condition.
