Low temperature flow property of diesel fuel is the main factor affect theapplication of diesel in winter, adding cold flow improvers to diesel fuel is thepreferred choice to improve the cold flow properties of diesel. The researches toprepare cold flow improvers with better application effect are very significant.Firstly, we synthesized the esterified or aminated derivatives of styrene-maleiccopolymer or styrene-fumaric acid copolymer using toluene as solvent at normalpressure , studied the affection on decreasing cold flow plugging point of diesel fueleffect of the cold flow improvers by means of the derivatives with different branchchain carbon number;Secondly, we synthesized copolymer of ethylene-ethyl acetateusing cyclohexane as solvent at high pressure, the structure and practical result of thecopolymer are discussed by means of reactive temperature, pressure, the dosage ofinitiator and vinyl acetate, further more, the affection on the copolymer's structure andits effect of decreasing cold filter plug point are studied by means of adding propyleneor isobutene as third monomer and using different solvent;Thirdly, oil-soluble, higherdialkyl amine derivatives, di-alkyl amine amides and/or salts of ortho phthalic acidwere prepared and its effect of decreasing cold filter plugging point are studied bymeans of aliphatic amine with different carbon number , Finally, study on matchingthe different self-prepared cold flow improvers for diesel oil to improve the diesel fuelflow properties were launched, to find a optimal scheme to strengthen applicationeffect of cold flow improvers.
