With the oil industry rapid development, the traditional manual operation cannot satisfy the request of modernization oil production by far. In order to increase the crude oil output, reduces the artificial labor intensity, enhance the production efficiency and the oil field management level, the most effective way is to apply the remote real-time monitoring system in the oil field production at present. This paper takes the research of oil field automation production as a background and the oil well remote real-time monitoring system as the research object. It study wireless pump well indicator ,which is the high with the performance processor as the core and embedded real-time operating system as the base, adopting many kinds of sensors technology, the wireless data communication technology and data processing algorithm.Through analyzing oil field production special request, we research the structure of oil well monitoring system and the method of long-distance data transmission, design the composition of wireless pump well indicator and it's electromagnetic compatibility. We designed the wireless pump well indicator with ARM as the core and completes the sensor and the signal processing electric circuit, the man-machine alternately, the UPS, the motor control, the connection module connection design.We completed the wireless pump well indicator software design with ARM software development platform and the C language and the assemble language. According to the software function, with the thought of three layer software design and μC/OS-II operating system ,we designed middleware level and the task level and analyzed the correspondence mechanism between the tasks.To solve the contradiction between the massive data transmission and the existing correspondence network, we research the pump well indicator data processing which is based on the nerve network curve fitting algorithm and propose one kind data compression algorithm which obtains the good effect.Indicated through the actual utilization at Henan oil field, the wireless pump well indicator can realize to the oil well and its the environment parameter real-time monitor, guarantees the good correspondence connection. The equipment underwent the filed extreme condition test, and the performance has been stable. Basically satisfies the design request.
