With a series of excellent properties, helical gears have broad and important functions in the fields of mechanics, electronics, spaceflight and weaponry, etc. The traditional machine tools use additional helical leaders to machining helical gears, so the cost is expensive. According to the shaper principle of helical gear, the dissertation analyze its machining methods and all movements in slotting machining process and discuss the problem that how to realize the additional rotation. The dissertation also researches the theory that uses undifferentiated method to slot helical gears. On the basis of the undifferentiated method and the research of the digital signal processing chip, we use PC-ISA Bus to communicate with the DSP and construct the CNC hardware platform. Finally, the dissertation designs the interface of system hardware and software. With the one-step interpolation of MCX314, basically realize the interpolation between the helical gear shaper process and complete the helical gears CNC slotting machining process.
