The technical reforms about digestion working procedure were discussed in this paper. Digestion working procedure is the key working procedure among bayer process. Because the follow configurations were decided by the production capacity of digestion working procedure and the product quality were affected directly by the target of digestion.Relevant technical data were obtained from material equilibrium calculation and heat energy equilibrium calculation in this paper. The relevant technical refonns of three-pipe piping digestion were described, too. The technical reform about three-pipe in piping digestion is the main point in all reforms. In order to mate to the development of the company, the reforms were made such as prolonging the length of the piping, adding the auto-control system. At last, the corresponding technical reforms have also been made on other equipments. As the use of new steam condensate technique, the heat energy of the steam was used more reasonable and the amount of the steam condensate was reduced obviously. The remainder of heat in cooling steam was used more sufficiency and it can low energy consumption in effect and improve high benefits. The automatization and the operation of the whole system were improved and the work condition of the jockey were also improved through the using of three-pipe in piping digestion system. The index of yield and production were highly enhanced. As the three-pipe in piping digestion was first used successfully in bayer process,it not only pave the way to the enlarge production of the Second Alumina Refinery, but also can reduce the cost of alumina in whole companies.
