| Combined machining machine tools have the advantage that work pieces can be machined most or all of the procedures needed under only one time clamping. So machine tools and clamps are reduced, transition and inventory among procedures are not needed, the fixing errors of procedures are decreased, the machining period is shortened and the working field needed is small. At present, more and more complicated work pieces are machined synthetically using combined machine tools around the world. Combined machining machine tools have become an important development direction of machine tools.This paper studies the scheme design and kinematics analysis for serial type and hybrid type turn-milling combined NC machine tools. First, a design method for a vertical NC turn-milling machine tool with a dual rotary table is introduced adapting motion function schematic innovation method using the work piece shapes and cutter characteristics as input information according to the turning machining method. Second, a scheme developing example of turn-milling combined hybrid NC machine tools is introduced by studying the motion equivalent between the parallel driven method and serial driven method and changing serial driven method into parallel or hybrid driven method. At last, the software programmed by MATLAB is developed according to the kinematics analysis including the forward and inverse position solutions of the instance mentioned above. And machining simulations and examples are given out testing the feasibility of methods introduced in this paper. |
