Research On Environment Management Information System In Mining City

The environment pollution in mining city has the characteristics of big polluted areas, wide region, serious polluted degree, many polluted kinds, difficult polluted disposal, complicated degree which isn't possessed by other city. In addition, the data of environment information in mining city has characteristics of rich source,abundant,a lot of kinds and complicated structure. Therefore we need a new technique to solve it because the present environment management information system cannot meet the practical demand. The paper based on environment present situation in our country mining city, carefully analyzes the environment information characteristic in the mining city. According to the mining urban environment information characteristic and function of GIS (geographic information system), guided by environment information science, database theory, and computer science etc, the paper discusses the design of environment management information system in the mining city, analysis of database about system and establishment process of system, and uses OLE (object joint with to insert) to integrate the MapInfo and VB, and establish originally environment management information system in mining city based on GIS. Through managing, search, analysis of environment management information in mining city, the system can provide the visual frank decision-making and evidence for the manager, and has the important instruction for the development of environment protection in mining urban. Taking the Fuxin this mining city as an example, the paper practices and applies the system.
