With the industrial development,population increase and etc.,pollution to rivers ofthe city becomes more and more heavy.To speed up the consuction of municipal wastewater treatment plant is now quite urgent.With the analysis of the existing water quality,considening the design and actualinflow quality of Datansha ph.1&2,inlow quality of phase 3 is determined as:BOD5=120mg/l,CODcr=250mg/l,SS=150mg/l,NH3-N=30mg/l,T-P=4mg/l.Effluent quality was determined as BOD5=20mg/l, CODcr=60mg/l,SS=20mg/l,NH3-N=10mg/l,T-P=0.5mg/l,according to requirements from local environmentprotection authority and receiving body.Datansha waste water treatment plant phace 1 is one of the earlist nitrogen romovaland dephosphorasc plants. Which was put into use in November 1989.Theconstruction capacity is 150,000m3/d.Treatment process was nitrogen romoval anddephosphorasc active sludge A2O. Thickening and dewatering process is used forsludge treatment.Phase 2 project was put into use in the end of 1996,capacity ofwhich was still 150,000 m3/d.Treatment process of sewage and sludge for phase 2 wassame as that of phase 1. The inflow quality in operation period of phase 1 was lowerthan design data. Therefore the design inflow quality was modified for phase 2.Total treatment capacity of phase1 and phase 2 was 330,000 m3/d.The capacity ofphase 3 is 220,000 m3/d.Treatment process applied was determined as innovated A2Oprocess with return sludge demitrification section after detail economic and techricalcomparison studg.Sludge will be thichened and dewatered.For far future stage,sludgedrying plus incineration process will be used.Total investment of the project will be210.84 million yuan.Unit constranation cost will be 958.35yuan/m3.Annnual totalproduction cost will be 40.90 million yuan and unit production cost is0.509yuan/m3.Annual operation cost will be 30.43 million yuan and unit operationcost is 0.379yuan/m3. Power comsumption will be 0.229kwh/m3.Land occupation willbe 0.232m2/m3.After phase 3 putting into operation,the sewage treatment rate of Guangzhou will beincreased from19.6%to27.5%.The pollutants discharge will also be reduced forexample.15,257t/year for CODcr, 8,030t/year for BOD5,10,439t/year for SS.Thatmcans environment funition of Zhujiang river will be improved and environmentquality will be much morebetter.
