This paper summarized developing history of cross-linked polyethylene. Different techniques used for cross-linked polyethylene and their reaction mechanism are introduced. Quantitatively analyzing the influence of silane, initiator, PE, catalyst, antioxidize on gel and MFI, the influence of gel fraction on mechanical properties and physical properties was studied. The formulations, processing parameter and materials of PE-X was systematically studied by one-step process. Through orthogonal design, the type of PE, initiator, catalyst and silane were choiced. The formulations by optimized of one-step process was approached. The rheologic properties of silane-g-PE and silane-C-PE were determined by means of an on-line shit rheometer, finding the ideal processing conditions for one-step process. The fluidity of silane-g-PE and silane-C-PE by FTIR,DSC and reaction mechanism of grafting and crosslinking were tested and verified. Effects of silane,catalyst,temperature of water and time of crosslinking are discussed on crosslinking reaction and behaviour of PEX. The macroreliefs of silane-g-PE and silane-C-PE were investigated by means of SEM and mechanical behaviour.The morphology of the macromolecular structural units building the superstructural molecular organization is changed .The relation of the micro-structure and properties of cross-linked polyethylene. The processing parameter of one-step PE-X_b pipe was high efficiency optimized. As a purpose for optimized by reaction mechanism, characteristic, construction token etc. It endly realized excellently turning( if the fixed amount research silane-g-PE and silane-C-PE,Established the in keeping with our country the formulation system of the state of the nation;Single in adoption silane with process to help an admixture affiliation act for to import to reply to go together with silane etc.).Therefore, This paper hand over the PEX with produced and studied in our country.
