Widely used in industry production, layout problem is an optimization problem, which is concerned with finding a good arrangement of multiple different-sized objects in a large containing region without overlapping. A good solution of this problem has a far-reaching meaning in greatly reducing the production cost in industry. In the garment field, garment layout system is an important part of garment CAD system, so a good garment layout system is a good technique to greatly reduce the production cost.Currently there are much Garment CAD software applied in garment industry of our country, For instance, Lectra system of France, Gerber system of USA, ACS system of Japan .layout system of these Garment CAD systems is perfect, but packing arithmetic of these layout systems isn't open to society, So it is innovative means to research layout problem in university.The paper aims at layout problem of two-dimensional irregular figures in the material that we used is a defined size one.This paper studies the principle of computer aided garment layout, then the paper analyzes the dominance of computer aided garment layout, the rule of layout graph designed, the method of computer layout.On the base of researching garment layout system, the paper proposessimulated annealing arithmetic, which simulates metal annealing process to solve optimization problem. The simulated annealing arithmetic accepts baddish values according to determinate conditions, so the simulated annealing arithmetic could dap local optimization values and reach overall optimization value.At automatic layout problem, the paper solve automatic layout problem of rectangle by simulated annealing arithmetic at first. At the process of layout, packing arithmetic is bottommost level arithmetic. About garment layout system of the paper, It is to find epiolic rectangle for each templet according to the principle of computer aided garment layout. Then it is to use automatic layout system of rectangular method, At last it is to modify layout graph by Manmachine Interactive Methods.
