| All kinds of glass defect will occur during the melting production, such as air bladder,stria and concretion. The precision of glass depends on where and how the products are used. Generally speaking, lots of obvious glass defect are not allowed which will reduce appearance quality, transparence, mechanical intensity and heat stability, and can bring plenty of wasters.From the research on the principle of existing glass defect inspection devices, it is easy to find that all this devices are constructed by personal computer and video capture card, and this system remains unstable and expensive.This paper mainly focuses on design of an embedded video processing system based on DSP and ARM. High-speed digital signal processor TMS320C6416 of TI company is adopted to do image-processing, and ARM-LPC2210 of PHILIPS company is taken as center chip. Decoded video signal is placed into frame buffer to capture video signal, decode or detect motion under the control of DSP, then detected image and motion results are transmitted by LPC2210 to guarantee visit of embedded video processing system via internet from client. The design can not only solve problems such as low stability and high price of PC-based video processing systems, but also perfect existed embedded video processing systems (DSP-based or RISC-based).In order to realize data of DSP and ARM, this paper design hard and soft outlet that make use of HPI to transfer data of DSP and ARM chips. ARM+uClinux solution is adopted in micro control processor subsystem and we developed the boot loader for our development board. In order to realize the on-line glass defect inspection automation, this paper also do a great of research on how the several popular digital image processing technology can be applied in industrial field. |
