People are paying more and more attention to the microbe of environment who is harm to the health of human and the healthy environment become the aim of people with the progress of our society and the advancement of living standard. At recent years, the research of TiO2 photocatalysts is the researching hotspot. by the environmental investigator in the whole world as its advantages of stability, low cost, and high photo-catalytic efficiency. But it is limit to the extensive application for its depend on the ultraviolet radiation.In this paper, we can enhance the antibacterial and purifying efficiency of TiO2 by doping other metal ions such as Ag+,Cu2+,Zn2+,RE3+,etc. In the experiments, theantibacterial and purifying material was prepared by Sol-Gel method with Ti(OC4H9)4, AcAc, and EtOH, etc. Different kinds of antibacterial powders and films were made by adjusting the experimental conditions. The Characterization of the sample was studied by different kinds of tests and measurements such as XRD, TG-DTA and UV-VIS etc. The purifying properties was studied by the Degradation of Methyl Orange and the antibacterial properties was studied by antibacterial ring method and MIC method. The research work was described in detail as the following aspects:(1) The sol can keep steady when n(H2O/Ti(OC4H9)4) is 2, n(AgNO3/ Ti(OC4H9)4) is less than 0.1 at 20℃. The doping of metal ions brought lower particle size and the restrain of TiO2 from anatase to rutile.(2) Doping metal ions, adding SAA and more H2O can improve the purifying efficiency of TiO2 when pH of Methyl Orange is 4 and c(Methyl Orange) is 10ug/mL.(3) The result of the antibacterial experiments is that double films, adding SAA, and doping with Ag and other ions could improve the antibacterial efficiency;MIC (TiO2) is more than 2000ug/ml, MIC(Cu/TiO2) more than 2000ug/mL, MIC(Ag/TiO2) is 500ug/mL, MIC(Ag-Zn/TiO2) is 125ug/mL, and MIC(Ag-RE/TiO2) is 62.5ug/mL.(4) The preparation and Characterization of TiO2, Ag/TiO2 sol and film in alkaline system was studied. The result is that the configuration of the TiO2 was main anatase and a little rutile inspected by XRD analysis, and there is silver nanoparticlesin TiC>2 film. The purifying efficiency was improved with the increasing of Ag when n(Ag/Ti) is less than 0.25. The antibacterial efficiency is also improved with the increasing of Ag.
