Developing biomass industry is the current trend of world economic development. Every country focuses on biomass exploiting. Replacing fossil by biomass is the only way to the continuable development for human beings.Through hydrosilylation, we use the reaction of the biomass (a-pinene and 6- pinene) and methyldichlorosilan to generate Dichloro-(6,6-dimethyl-bicyclo[3.1.1]hept-2-ylmethyl)-methyl-silane which can be used in two fields . One field is, through alcoholysis of this product, novel silane coupling agents will be generated. The other field is, the first step,Dichloro-(6,6-dimethyl-bicyclo[3.1.1]hept -2-ylmethyl)-methyl-silane reacts with Chloropropene Grignard reagents to form allysilane, the second step, Using the reaction of allysilane and carbonyl compound,homoallyl alcohol will be created. In this method, high exploiture of biomass can be associated with organic silane chemistry.
