Chitosan with a degree of deacetylation of more than 90%,whose apparent viscosity individually is 760 mPa.s (CTS1#) and 100 mPa.s (CTS2#) were supported by silicon gel and permutite to prepare Si-CTS and permutite-CTS. Using glycol and 2% acetic acid solution as solvent and 50% glutaraldehyde as cross-linking agent, Cross-linked chitosan supported by silicon gel (Si-CCTS) and crosslinked chitosan supported by permutite (permutite-CCTS) were prepared under microwave radiation. The structure and properties of chitosan supported by inorganic substances and cross-linked chitosan supported by inorganic substances were studied by SEM, FTIR, WAXD and TG. The loading number of chitosan supported by inorganic substances was measured. Effect of pH and initial concentration on the adsorption properties of cross-linked chitosan and the adsorption properties of adsorbents for Pb2+ and Hg2+ in standard solutions and ephedra's clearing up...
