| Plate rolling is one of the most important metal forming processes. In rolling, non-uniform spread results in non-rectangular plates, causing yield loss. So it is significant to study the plan view pattern control technique for improving plate yield and plate quality and to save conserve energy.Simulation of the plate rolling was performed using the dynamic explicit finite element software. Observed from the simulation, the plan view pattern of after single pass rolling presented convex end shape and concave side shape, continue to simulate the effect of the plate rolling conditions on the plan view pattern was obtained. In order to verify the reliable of the result of finite element analysis, simulation of the plate rolling under the experimental conditions was performed. The results from simulation agreed well with the measured ones, which indicated that the method could simulate the rolling process accurately.Under the background of the development of plate rolling in our country, this dissertation carried the analysis of plan view pattern, the presented rules settled the theoretical basement of improving our plate production level. |
