The Research To Automatic Software For Piston Mold Design Of Casting Machine

The research's subject of the thesis is the automatic software system for piston mold design of casting machine. We hope this will be spread deeply in piston manufacturing industry and improve the technology of piston, pour energy in to automobile industry of our country.According to the feature of the piston mold of casting machine, theauthor take full advantage of CAD software--Solid Edge ,develop theCAD System For Piston Mold of casting machine which is parameterized .The author parameterize the sections of piston and set up measurements or structures correlation. The main feature of this system is that it is no need redesigning the geometrical mould of piston sections when we have finished a geometrical mould. We can produce one new pair of piston mold by this software's system, which reduce the Periods of designing and manufacturing mold, and raise the efficiency and the applied levels of CAD software.The author and others together not only apply the Visual Basic to create the software system operative interface whose form is menu, but also make the operative interface unionization. All the functions are obvious and convenient. Complex functions are synthesized, even the beginner of Solid Edge can use it easily.
