Study And Development Of Parameteric Design System For Woodworking Milling Cutter Based On Pro/Engineer

The woodworking cutter is the tools that used for cutting timber and the various type of wood-based panels,such as fibreboard,flakeboard and veneer.Along with the fast development of timber processing industry and the furniture manufacturing industry and the numerical control trend of woodworker in our country,not only in the structure,but also in the design method,the traditional woodworker has already can't satisfied the need of the produce.The woodworker is the key factor that influence the quality of timber processing product,reasonable of structure relate to the quality of the product,the performance of economic and the ability of market competition directly.For a long time,artificial operationis the main way in the woodworker design of our country,the designer need to check form,compute,paint by hand,so it has great repeating work,low efficiency,long periodand high mistake rate. Currently,most of the research on woodworker in our country is development of the new material, but the study on the CAD system about the woodworker still stay the initial stage. In 2002,only Tianjin university of science and technology,in the paper of Development of Computer Aided Design System for Woodworking Relieving Integrated-formed Milling Cutter ",it discusses the use of the woodworking relieving integrated-formed milling cutter computer aided design(WRIFCAD) program to design a cutter for a milling machine that would be used for woodworking applications.The cutter has an integrated relief designed into it.The WRIFCAD system is based on the woodworking cutter design theory and was developed with the use of computer graphics.In this circumstance,this thesis aims at milling cutter that widely used in woodworking cutter,making use of the Pro/TOOLKIT's secondary development functions of the 3D machine design software —Pro/Engineer,combining VC++6.0,the programme software,and Microsoft Access,the database develop tool, developed the parameteric system of woodworking milling cutter.The main function of this system: (1)Make use of the Pro/Engineer and parameteric technique to establish parameteric 3D accessary database in common used woodworking milling cutter.
