SiC-particle-reinforced aluminum matrix composites, which own excellent physics-mechanics properties, such as specific strength, specific stiffness, wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and high elastic modulus, are increasingly widely utilized in aerospace, spaceflight, medical treatment, military and automobile industries, and also make its preparation, machining and application become the research hotspot in recent technology development of the world.Along with SiC-particle-reinforced aluminum matrix composites widely used in aerospace and spaceflight field, there are appearing more and more parts, which with straight, curvilinear slot, small dimension holes, and must be precisely machined. Because of the horniness SiC particles exist in the aluminum matrix, making the original difficult processing material facing new processing problem.The thesis's proposal aims to make some basic research work in order to solve the processing problem of straight, curvilinear narrow slot processing, and making a matting for further in-depth study in future.Firstly, combining the theory and material feature of grinding, the paper presents the method of using Electroplated Diamond wheel as the grinding tools; analyses the fabrication process and application deficiency of the traditional Electroplated wheel, presents the detailed requirement of the grinding tools, generalizes a fabrication process flow of the Electroplated Diamond wheel and prepared the Electroplated Diamond wheel.Secondly, combining the theories of elastic-plastic mechanics and the theories of metal matrix composites, it researches the grinding material removing mechanics, presents the grinding cutting model, the theories has been proved by grinding experiment.Thirdly, through the grinding experiment, it researches the application performance of the Electroplated Diamond wheel; researches the grinding force and acquires the conclusion of its influence factors and changing rules.
