BPA1, BPA2 and BPA3 were prepared from nano-SiO2 and PEG with weight ratio of 1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1 respectively. Three kinds of organomontmorillinite were used to solution mix with PEG as the weight ratio of 1:1 and 1:2 for each kind of organomontmorillonite, to prepare six kinds of binary aids TPA1, TPA2, TPA3, TPA4, TPA5 and TPA6. The capillary rheometer was used to study the influence of BPA and TPA on the rheological properties and sharkskin melt fracture of HDPE and mLLDPE(LLDPE) respectively. WAXD was used to study the intercalation of PEG into organomontmorillonite layers and the exfoliation and dispersion of TPA through the mLLDPE matrix. Dynamic viscoelastic tests was used to analyzed the relationships of log η* to frequency and G" to G' . DSC was used to melting and crystallization properties of polyethylene and polyethylene/BPA(TPA) composites in order to find the effect of melting or crystallization properties and mechanical properties of polyethylene/BPA(TPA) composites.BPA could not only reduce the viscosity of mLLDPE melt well through most shear rate range, but also greatly increase the tensile strength, modulus and elongation at break of HDPE. With adding BPA, the whole crystallization rate was increased, the crystal size was more uniform, the melting range became narrow which is means that the crystallization of HDPE was more completely.According to the results of TPA/mLLDPE composites system, TPA could not only reduce the mLLDPE melt viscosity through the whole shear rate range but also improve the sharkskin melt fracture. TPA reducing the mLLDPE melt viscosity relate with interaction between TPA and mLLDPE matrix.
