Synthetic ammonia Plant is the internal plant of AnHui Huainan Chemical Group. It's main flow process implies gasification , purifying consumption and synthetic ammonia. As high-pressure high-temperature working environment always leads to much potential security danger, it becomes core unit of the group. This paper that deals with synthetic ammonia Plant applied hybrid model of traditional C/S and popular B/S as settlement. We use C/S model in some parts that security highly needed, large data processing, data search while we also use B/S model in parts that has the function of browsing and dose not need much security. User may query information in different ways as required (For example: Start up application programs or work with browser).The paper focus on the implementation of SPMIS and its safety evaluation, including system requirement, hierarchy analysis, systems organization, module division, exploring system method and mathematical module, system implementation and system test. System module includes production management, equipment of machine management, Safety management, safety education management, system management.The paper describes the using tools: Visual Basic 6.0 is used into implement application program, and database is Access 2000. The sub-system based on C/S model is encoded particularly, and the interface between client and server is Active X Data Object. The thesis's last part has come up with a talkative idea on how to settle the defects in it, and has studied the developing trend of computer application technology and has conformed the next search direction.The system has perfect expansibility. Enterprise can add or expand module's kind and function according to one's requirement; C/S and B/S mixed module can both realize browse request by database's interactive interface and send message to browser as HTML page layout. Which will meet user's requirement about information browsing and consultant; The system also has safety evaluation function. According to Synthetic ammonia Plant's practical production, the system uses two different safety evaluation to evaluate and write program about producing area and storage area. And then integrate them in the same program window. We can choose the proper method...
