Study On Sewage Sight Utilization In Shenzhen City

The reuse of domestic sewage is a efficient approach in alleviating the pollution of water, ameliorating the entironment and allaying the pressure of water lacking in cities. In the recent years, lots of researches are carried on the reuse of domestic sewage no matter in domestic or abroad.The stability and safety of the water should be studied when the water is the effluent from the secondary biological treatment.This study put the emphasis on researching and developing the techniques used in stabilizing the qualities of the effluent from the secondary biological treatment.The experiment aimed at researching the quality conditions of the demostic sewage to be reused in afforestation and analyzing whether it was harmful for reclaimed water to environment and human bodies involved.To guarantee the water quality, of the reclaimed wastewater of Shenzhen meeting the national standards, advanced treatment of the biologically treated wastewater was undertaken by coagulation-sedimentation method at a small-scale.The results show that the plants are effective in absorbing and degrading the COD, P and N in the water. In a pond with enough plants,the cod, p and n can be degraded bit by bit, which insure the qualityof the water to achieve the request in the international standard. So, the reuse of the effluent from the secondary biological treatment is totally feasible.
