Based on the DSP control technology, with the goal to control strengthening the constant tension of cotton rope in the belt production, a kind of belt forming machine control system is designed in this article, which mainly aims to satisfy the high accuracy request of belt forming machine control system in domestic at the present.In order to solve the problems which exist in belt forming machinecontrol technology Based on several kinds of electronic devices-digitalsignal processor (DSP), inverter, magnetic-powder lutch application, several primary control sections of forming machine are researched firstly, including cotton ropes constant tension control, main axis speed control and platoon line spacing control, and control principle, method and realization of each control section are analyzed. The factors that are influential to strengthen the constant tension of cotton rope in the forming machine are analyzed; the design and the realization of hardware electric circuit and software algorithm in constant tension closed-loop control system are completed.Research in this thesis will be significant to improve the belt production quality level and the automation of its manufacture machines and the development of Chinese belts industry as well as a reference to the study of other electromechanical machines.
