Recrystallization and grain growth process is one of the most important physical metallurgical processes to produce metal materials. After long time basic studies, a lot of achievements have been got, such as Directional Nucleation and Selective Growth Theory, Phenomenological Theory. But there are still many problems in explanation of recrystallization microstructure evolution. The traditional approach to research the recrystallization and grain growth of material is metallographical observation .This approach need long time and is not comprehensive as well as not exact, while it just can reach qualitative or semi-quantitative experiment research requirement. Modern technique of computer simulation offers a new way to simulate recrystallization and grain growth process of material in order to realize the numerical simulation and topological simulation. In recent years, Monte Carlo (MC) method and Cellular Automate (CA) method become the mean way to simulate recrystallization and grain growth process. Compared with MC method, the CA method is relatively lagged behind, especially is still on the inchoative stage in China. So lots of simulation research should be developed. This paper just use CA method to simulate recrystallization and grain growth process and compares the simulation results with that of MC method to get its advantages and disadvantages for further improvement.Based on CA method, material recrystallization theory and computer simulation theory, the grain growth model and recrysitallization model have been constructed in this paper ,and the research of recrystallization and grain growth process virtual experiment and its microstructures evolution rules has been completed by using Visual C ++ language program, the conclusions getted are as follows: through...
