At present, the dairy industry is a new developing industry. As the development of the economy and the enhance of our standards of living, the mount of consumpstion of dairy becomes more and more great in China. The total number of paper mills is about to more than 10000, which released more than 4 billions steres wastewater each year, the wastewater they released occupied ten persent of the total quantity in China. To deal with dairy and paper wastewater successfully will play a more important role in the field of industry wastewater treatment. As a pretreatment technics of wastewater disposal, hydrolysis and acidification could improve sewage'capability to be treated by biochemical technics, depress the load of aerobic project in the next stage, it has been used in many aeras of treatment of wastewater widely such as chemical, paper making and foodstuff wastewater with high density. This paper will introduce the research effect treating dairy and paper making wastewater by hydrolysis and acidification technics, the paper will analysis and compare the change of significant parameters in the process of hydrolysis acidification, and then conclude the reasonable changing course of dairy wastewater with feasibility of biological treatment and paper making wastewater with unfeasibility of biological treatment in the process of hydrolysis acidification, and this paper will provide practicable referent basis for practical project.Theory and practical experiment have proved that the hydrolyric-acidification as a pre-treatment technology may remove much suspended solid and apart of organic pollutant. Most importantly, the hydrolytic-acidification technology improves biodegradation of the two kinds of wastewater,and creats favorable conditions for next oxidation bio-contactor,heightens rate of oxidating organic pollutant and shortens residence time. The experiment has compared the starting and controlling factors of the two reactors and analyzed the effects of the two reactors,and ensured the best HRT for the two hydrolytic-acidification reactors respectively.The experiment takes the ability to be treat by biological technics of wastewater as the principle of hydrolytic-acidification effect.
