Research On Approaching And NC Machining Technology Based On NURBS Surfaces

To meet the requirements of modeling and NC machining programme of curves and surfaces, at first, the thesis uses the reverse-technique, which bases on the reverse-calculation of NURBS curves and surfaces, to acquire the control vertexes from the data points of random curves and surfaces. Then a group of NURBS curves are got by isoparametric methord. Some arithmetices to approach the NURBS curves with lines and circular arcs are utilized based on dichotomy and least square circle, and the NC machining codes are made out. In the end, a NC programming pretreatment system is designed for the modeling and approaching of curves and surfaces with Matlab and VB6.0 softwares, and the means of modeling, approaching and generating NC machining codes are proved to be correct by some examples.
