| In the process of hot strip rolling,If the temperature difference of intermediate billet is too large,the products will show asymmetry in mechanical properties and variability in thickness in the direction of length.This problem can be solved to a large extent by hot coil box technology, and the production cost can also be reduced.Because of this, one domestic hot rolling production line introduced this technology.The range of product varieties of this hot rolling production line is wide, and the span of hardness groups is also wide.The product which thickness less than 2.0mm is more. Therefore, there is frequently demand for the hot coil box.In order to take full advantage of the hot coil box technology and to ensure the continuity of production,based on the digestion of some references and the related technical information of the hot coil box unit,the main control parameters have been studied and some production technology has been optimized.The main research work includes:1 Based on the elastioplastic bend theory,stress and strain distribution of intermediate billet has been analyzed during the bending process.The model describing the relationship between bending radius and residual curvature for intermediate billet has been established.This model is beneficial to the study of the initial roll gap setting.2 The short stroke control parameters such as delay value and gap value of entrance side guide have been determined according to the actual data of this production line.The relations between hydraulic cylinder stroke and bending roll gap under different machine structure have also been analyzed.By the studies above,the models such as initial bending roll gap setting and bending roll ascending velocity have been established.Table models of three rolls contacting control and cradle roll positioning for this hot rolling production line have been established.3 In order to enhance success rate of intermediate billet tail positioning,the position of thermal metal detector has been changed according to the actual situation.The coil speed of the tail coiling control method has been optimized.This research work is useful for testing of this hot coil box unit.It also provides a basis for technological innovation in the field of hot coil box technology. |
