The main aim of this paper is to use the FLUNET software to simulate the mixture and burning procession of the blast furnace gas and air in the burner and hearth. This software is widely used in the hydrodynamics recently. The conclusions are showed in the follow:(1) Choosing standard k-ε models, non-premixed combustion and the discrete ordinates (DO) radiation model can get relatively ideal result, as the FLUNET software using in the blast furnace gas burning procession in the burner and hearth.(2) The gas pressure drop in the hot gas generator is 3800Pa. The major pressure loss of the gas occurred in burner. The mixed gas from burner is injected into hearth tangentially, clockwise rotating, while mixing each other. And the speed of gas in burner is bigger outboard than inboard.(3) The maximum temperature is in the lower part of the hearth. As the existing of the cool air inlet, the higher the temperature becomes lower. The average temperature in the burner is about 1250K, and some part 1400~1500 K.(4) The blast furnace gas and air can not be mixed sufficiently in the burner, and air concentrates in the center zone of the burner, the blast furnace gas near outside zone. The mixed gas burns partly in the burner, and being injected into the hearth, the mixed gas burns more sufficiently. The blast furnace gas gets burnt more sufficiently in the hearth in center zone than near outside zone.(5) Enlarging the blast furnace gas distributing pipe is advantageous to burning procession in the burner.
