This paper studies the technique of auto balancing on-line at the shafts of the numerical control machine and processing center. This balancing technique has two adjusting rings with unbalanced quantity. First of all, the system measures the vibration of the shaft using the electric eddy current sensor. By analyzing the signal of vibration, the amplitude and phase of unbalanced quantity can be discovered. Then the system turn two of adjusting rings properly angles to counterweight the shaft. The whole technique can divide into three parts, initial counterpoise, beforehand counterpoise and counterweight on-line. If the unbalancing quantity is biggish, it can be counterweighted by initial counterpoise. Knowing two parameters of the shaft , the amplitude and phase of unbalancing quantity can be measured using the influence coefficient method. That important parameter can be known during the beforehand counterpoise. The adjustable ring be drive by electromagnetic pulse based on the theory of step motor. Because diminution of output torque is very quick with increasing the speed of rotation, this article analyses the relation among the number of windings, working voltage and series resistance for getting enough output torque. When the adjustable ring turn to proper position, the electric magnetic clutch connect it with the shaft. This article also makes modal analysis on the shaft r to increase the accuracy of measurement. This research is significance to the development of precision in our country.
