Against the facts that high alumina, low effective electric dust precipitation of power plant fly ash fired Zhungeer coal, the physicochemical characteristics which include particle size, density, adhesivness, hygroscopic, resistivity(including laboratory and field resistivity), chemical and mineral composition of Zhungeer coal ash were studied in the present paper, and also the relation of those characteristics with electric dust precipitation performance was analyzed in detail. According to large quantity experiments, we determined feasible and effective method for preparing different alumina content ash, incinerating the mixture of coal powder and kaolin clay or fine alumina reagent, and treating coal ash with hydrofluoric acid, the present paper profoundly studied the influence to resistivity of the content and occurrence formula of alumina in fly ash, by preparing different alumina content ash with the foreground methods. Besides, referencing coherent combustion theory, the influences of the SO3 flue gas conditioning taking to ESP performance and alumina taking to fly ash formation were analyzed.
