Against the fact of inefficient collection for sintering ash by electrostatic precipitator, the pHysicochemical characteristics were systemically studied in the present paper those included particle size, density, chemical composition and the variety law of carbon, silica, alumina, iron, calcium and magnesium as particle size or electric field, the mineral pHase structure of iron oxides. Through experimental research we can concluded that finer and smaller real density was the important factors causing inefficient collection for sintering ash by ESP, because Fe2O3 is the main form of iron in sintering ash, so its resisitivity is not very different with coal fly ash, there are many factors that cause the law of the carbon content varies as electric field or particle size: increasing and then reducing. The influence of iron oxides content and form to sintering ash resistivity were studied, Fe3O4 was the main influent factor to resistivity.
