| In application, aqueous dye, solution has advantages such as the avoidance of dustin handling, less dyestuff migration in dyeing process, lower cost of dyestuffmanufacture, less difficulty in handling the dyeing&finishing waterwaste, helpful forthe clean production of companies and suitable for the automation system of dyeingetc. Therefore it becomes more and more popular and has a huge potential to develop.At the same time, there are also disadvantages such as poor storage stability, whichinhabit the development of liquid dyes.In this paper, reactive blue P-3R was chosen as the research objection. First, theoptimum times of purity were decided. Then the properties of reactive blue P-3Rwere carefully investigated. The properties include the longest absorbancewavelength, the best scope of absorbance, solubility and the optimum pH value. Thenthe effects of different kinds of auxiliaries (buffers, organic solvent, the hydrotropicagents and the surface active agents) and their dosages on the properties (thesolubility of the dyestuff, the storage of the liquid dye and the fixation and the.exhaustion properties of the dyestuff) of liquid reactive P-3R were detailedresearched and the best auxiliaries and their dosage scopes were determined. The bestauxiliaries and their dosage scopes determined were listed as follows: bufferNa2HPO4/NaH2PO4 0.5~3%, organic solvent N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) 0~15%, hydrotropic agent caprolactam 5~15%, surfactant TX-10 0~5%.The compatibility of different auxiliaries was also investigated in detail. Theresults demonstrated that the compatibility condition between the buffer and theorganic solvent was poor. The factors including the sorts of organic solvents, the kindand concentration of buffers can affect the compatibility. The results showed that theelectrical conductivity of the buffer used is the first factor, which determined thecompatibility between the buffer and the organic solvent. The lower of the electrical conductivity of the buffer, the storage of the liquid dye and the compatibility betweenbuffer and organic solvent are better.On the basis of the previous research, four different concentrations of ink-jet inkswere prepared according to the special requirements of inks. Then the physical andchemical stability of the inks and the printing quality of the ink-jet printing fabricwere investigated. The results demonstrated that the physical and chemical stabilityof the prepared inks and the washing fastness of the printing fabric and penetrationresistance of the inks were good. However, the abrasion fastness of the fabric was notsatisfactory, which could be solved by optimizing the conditions of the pretreatmentprocess and postprocessing. |
