Latex resin has gradually used in the protection of stone cultural relics, because of its low toxicity and rare pollution. According to the tests of angle of contact, acidresistivity and invariability, we made a choice in the four latex resins of acrylate resin latex, organosilicone acrylate latex, polyurethane latex and fluorocarbon latex. The tests indicated that fluorocarbon latex had excellent capabilities in hydrophobicity, acidresistivity and invariability, and could hold back the destroy from water, acid and salt.More and more importance was attached to Namo-materials in the conservation of cultural relics for their excellent properties. We toke Fluorocarbon latex for base, the modified nano-SiO2 and nano-TiO2 and the other assistants for assessories, confected a complex material which could not only prevent the stone culture relics from weathering but also make rarely hazards to the environment. Four dispersants and two resin acceptors were researched in dispersion of nano-materiral. Its indicated dispersant D-4 and resin acceptor B were good to disperse the nano-material.The main properties of the composite protective coating were tested by using measure of angle of contact, Ultraviolet Spectroscopy etc. Its found that the composite protective coatings performed well in many properties, such as the ultraviolet shield, consolidation, invariability, acidresistivity and so on. The composite protective coating was not only organic solvent free and innoxious but also colorless, transparent and nonluminous. It was effectively used for the protection of stone cultural relics, and it will be promising in the conservation of stone cultural relics.
