Through the study of copper hydrometallurgy, the process of leachingchalcopyrite by ferric sulfate electrochemical and using sulfuric acid as leachingagent, the process of Extracting copper from leaching solution by Lix984-Keresene andthe process of recovedng Sulfur from leaching remainder have been realized.In the technology of ferric sulfate electrochemical process forleachingchalcopyrite,The effect of leaching conditions such as sulfuric acidconcentration, leaching temperature, NaClConcentration, leaching time, L/S, troughvoltage, stirring speed, surface active reagent Concentration on the leaching ratiohave been discussed, the results showed that the optimum Leaching conditions arethat H2SO4 concentration is 4mol/L, Iron (Ⅲ) ion concentration is 1mol/L, leachingtemperature is 368K, NaCl concentration is 1.5 mol/L, leaching time is 6h,Ratio ofliquid volume to solid mass is 6:1, surface active reagent concentration is0.2g/L, stirring speed is 300rpm, trough voltage between 2~4V, add a fewCatalyst and pour air at ratio of 2m3/s.In. those conditions, the leaching ratioof Copper is above 95%.Lix984 diluted with Kerosene was used to extract copper(Ⅱ) from sulfuric Acidsolutions. The metal extraction ratio has been examined and also the Effect of thevalue of pH, extracting agent concentration, phase ratio (the organic. phase totheAqueous phase) and soaping rate have been studied. Experiments showthat theoptimum Extracting conditions are 25% Lix984-Kerosene, pH=1~1.5, O:A=3:1,andsoaping Ratio is 80%, in which extracting conditions, the extraction rate can be over98%. A solution of 180g/L sulfuric acid can be used as counter-extracting Agentfor copper, and the stripping copper loading aqueous can be used to electrolyze refinedCopper. Lix984-Kerosene showed excellent extraction and separation characteristics Forthe Cu-Fe sulfate system and could be advantageously used for the treatment of suchliquors produced from complex sulfide ore.In the. recovering of Sulfur, RE is used as extracting agent. Sulfur was dissolvedwhen heated and crystallized-when cooled. Thus, the high purified sulfur was produced.In this me, thod, the Recovering ratio of sulfur from leaching remainder can be over 98%and over 88% from copper sulfide concentrate.
