Enlarging application of computer is one of developing aspects in casting industry. The application may have significant effects in optimizing casting technics, shorting conduct periods, elevating conduct quality, reducing inferior rate and operating costs. Compared with other aspects, simulation of mould and cast freezing is crucial to ensure conduct quality. Thereby, simulation of mould and cast freezing has been one of pop researches. Because of the developing techniques, enlarging computing information and programming, using of compositive math software has been a trend for programming. The dissertation affords simulating and correctional methods for casting technics design, basing on calorifics, hydromechanics and metal freezing theory. The work is mainly to simulate freezing field and temperature field during the process of mould and cast freezing, to forecast cast quality and to elevate design level of casting techniques, making use of numerical analysis means, data-base techniques, visual techniques and so on.Basing on the analysis of freezing field, temperature field and casting flaw forecast molds, the author provides a new casting technics flow. The paper studies on frame mold of CAD technics illustrating die casting Al-Si alloy shield and simulates its moulding and freezing process successfully via correct mold selecting and parameter setting. The results accord with expectation and actual status.The route of computer simulation analysis in die casting alloy freezing process is to create 3.D mold using Unigraphics, simulate mould and freezing filed through Matlab software, which is a high property mathematics operation and visual software produced by MatlabWorks, and discuss interface mode of the two software. The interface mode makes uses of API interface of Unigraphics and Matlab together with its secondary developing techniques to actualize its data transmit in Visual C++ software. The investigation indicates that UG/OPEN API, as an interface of UG, can almost actualize its whole function. It is to say that users can utilize its functions to realize their appeal. Considered the world's broadest math software, Matlab possesses stronger math computing, data disposing, mold designing, simulating, analyzing and visual operating functions.The paper actualizes simulation of die casting shield freezing field and temperature field by the help of Visual C++ and Matlab Software. Consequently, the investigation may offer a useful explore for Matlab's further application.
