As a new technology, remote laser welding has born for a short time relatively, so its way of manufacturing is still manual administration, but this way has many defects, like that it is hard to weld complicated works, processors need to be proficient in charging welding equipments, and also when works changed, we will waste much time to adjust. But these faults disappeared when off-line programming system of remote laser welding has been built. For this purpose, something involved as following:1. The components and features of off-line programming system have been analyzed comprehensively,the structure, mainly characters and models of robot off-line programming system have also been introduced for emphasis.2. Kinematics of two work stations of remote laser welding have been analyzed detailed, that involved establishing coordinate systems of 6-freedom degrees robot, involved analyzing its forward solution and reverse solution. Then the kinematics of scanner mirror system was introduced for emphasis. After that, features of kinematics of gantry remote laser welding have been shown, corresponding solution has also been showed. These things are all bases of steps later.3. Based on analyzing general system, we determined the system's development style, whole structure, mainly models, outside interfaces and so on.4. The platform of remote laser welding platform has been established elementary, and the path-plan, manufacturing-simulation, so on functions of remote laser welding of robot and gantry have been realized. With Visual C++.NET's abundant resources, after developed Open CASCADE platform, we got many friendly human-computer interaction interfaces, that makes this platform very easy for users.
