In this thesis, the five-membered heterocyclic compounds containing nitrogen, their palladium complexes and palladium complex of the chiral ferrocenyldiamine were synthesized. The properties of the compounds were studied. The main results obtained are as follows:1. The five-membered heterocyclic compounds containing imidazolines (10),(11),(12) and (13)were synthesized by the condensation of the hydrochloride salt of salicylaldehyde nitrile with ethylenediamine, benzylethylenediamine, n-pentyl ethylenediamine and meso-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-diaminoethane. All the new compounds were characterized by IR, NMR and MS spectra.2. The five-membered heterocyclic compounds containing oxazoline (17) and (18) were synthesized by the condensation of salicylaldehyde nitrile with chiral amino alcohols. All the new compounds were characterized by IR, NMR and MS spectra. 3. The compounds (11),(17) and (18) were treated by Li2PdCl4 in the presence of sodium acetate at room temperature for 24hs to produce the compounds (19), (20) and (21). All the new compounds were characterized by IR, NMR and MS spectra. And the compound (19) was studied as the catalyst for C-N bond formation.4. A novel palladium complex of the chiral ferrocenyldiamine (25) was synthesized and studied as catalyst for the asymmetric Michael addition. The excellent yield and good ee% was obtained (yield: 97. 5% and ee%: 80%).
