At present, some textiles such as swimsuits, navy accouterments and chairs for sand beach, are requested to test the colorfastness to sunlight perspiration and chlorine. The conventional means just test colorfastness to every single factor respectively. In above conditions, it can't reflect the grade of colorfastness when textiles are in actual use. Hence, it's necessary to do research on the testing method and product specifications of complex colorfastness to colored textiles when they are used under two or more than two factors.In this dissertation, investigation on how to establish testing method and product specification of complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and chlorine for swimsuit fabrics was done. Firstly, the colorfastness to every single factor, as well as to the two combined factors for swimsuit fabrics was tested. The testing results showed that sunlight was greatly affected factor and swimming-pool water took second place.Secondly, in order to simulate actual circumstance of sunlight, perspiration and chlorine, the dipping sequence of perspiration and chlorined water,as well as collocation of complex liquid of perspiration and chlorined water was studied. Based on such research, the effect of different dipping sequence and complex liquid to complex colorfastness was determined by the concentration of available chlorine of swimming-pool water. Combined with the study on colorfastness to single or two factors, a draft testing method for complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and chlorine was established. Different testing procedures were used in different consistence of available chlorine of swimming-pool water, that is to say, the case of swimming-pool water of 100mg/L available chlorine with the procedure of "swimming-pool water + sunlight + perspiration", as well as swimming-pool water of 50mg/L available chlorine and seawater adopted "complex liquit + sunlight".Thirdly, orthogonal tests were made in order to confirm the effect of single factor and interacting function of two factors to complex colorfastness for swimsuit fabrics. For the complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and swimming-pool water, three important factors with two levels were chose according to the national standard (GB) and business testing standard. For the complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and seawater, two important factors with two levels were chose. Through orthogonal tests, the effect of single factor such as sunlight, perspiration, chlorine and alternant factors to complex colorfastness was verified. We could find that the mutual effect of factors was so little. Finally, after analyzing the experimental data of swimsuit fabrics with the SPSS and orthogonal theory, product specification of complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and chlorine for swimsuit fabrics was obtained. It should be more than 3 grade at least. The effect of different colors and fabric components for complex colorfastness to sunlight, perspiration and chlorine would give some guidances to production consumption as well as importors and exportors.
