So far, on the platform of punch, personal injury caused by unconsciousoperation, especially injury to the hands, happens so frequently that it causes greathurt to the workers, both physically and mentally; what is worse, some of them havelost working ability.As regards to these situations, taking the concrete punch as working background,with arithmetic and embedded technology, Samsung's s3c2410 processor ascontrolling core, embedded linux as operating system, this paper creates a hardwareand software platform for the hand testing system on the punch; develops the picturecatching and collecting module of the ov511USB videotape; proposes four handtesting schemes in view of the features of hands and the particular workingenvironment, and through the study on figure processing algorithm of gray-scaletransformation, threshold dividing, edge detection and pattern recognition, etc. and atlast,we get a system design based on Study mechanism; According to the testingresult, alarming and controlling module on the punch are designed. At the same time,the time-reality of the whole system is analyzed and designed.The result indicates that system is feasible, and the system is stable,Simultaneously system timeliness needs further enhancement.
