Traditional tubing length mainly rely on manual measurements with a measuring tape,and the manner is time-consuming, tape measure is contact measurement, the measurement process bring errors because it is involved to much human. Laser ranging is used in this design, the length of tubing can be quickly measured and the labor intensity can be reduced and the long tubing test automation can be improved.Handheld rangefinder system is designed in this paper and mainly used for pipe length measuring field, because the average laser rangefinder not well supported by tubing length measurement, lack the necessary initialization parameters, and with the upgrading of management mode, measuring the length of the data other than the need to have certain parameters recorded, so that subsequent statistical work been easier, so it is necessary to develop a targeted range finder systems. The laser sensor is used in this design and as the length data acquisition module, ARM6410 microprocessor chip as the core hardware platform, and based on this hardware platform on porting embedded Linux operating system, developed graphical interface program that based onQt.A touch-screen mode is used in the human-computer interaction, leaving only a save button, this design while ensuring constant display area reduces the volume occupied by the system, make the system more compact. The historical measurement data export function U disk is used in the measurement system, as opposed to the traditional hand-copying historical data recording efficiency of the way a lot more convenient.The main contents of this design:First, to build and prepare the hardware development environment, Feiling embedded OK6410 development board is used, the host is Lenovo G480;followed by transplantation of embedded Linux operating system and based on Qt graphics interface program is developed, including the U-boot been modified and transplanted, Linux kernel been cut and transplanted, device drivers are developed,Qt transplant, Qt-based application is developed, and other content; At last, after the completion of each module separately for development and test, soft and hardware are jointed to test of the entire system. The system in function to meet the needs of users, has been put into use.
