Wet flue gas desulfurization technology is one kind relative maturer technology that have higher efficiency,is applies the most widespread desulphurization method in the present world,and wet limestone flue gas desulfurization is the most common method in controlling SO2 emission.The single limestone particle was studied as object.based on film theory,a mass transfer model of alkaline solution desulfurization was found,and then use matlab to simulate.Through theory analysis of SO2 in gas phase mass transfer and diffuse to liquid phase, limestone`s dissolution and diffusion and reaction take place in the liquid, a series of hypothetic conditions were brought foreward.Consequently,a mass transfer model was found.The model can deduce the velocity of mass transfer .The results showed that the conclusions predicted by the model were in good agreement with the experiment.The coincidental degree up to 97%.In this way,the theory reference for studying the mechanism of wet desulfurization was offered .A dedust and desulfurize scrubber with spray and cascade-ring was developed.According to the principle of spray, batter, self excitation and cyclone, the scrubber synthesize the traits of cyclone and grating in order to intensify gas–liquid mass transfer. A series of experiments were carried out to investigate the influence of basic operating parameters such as wet seal height,pH value of spray, water content of flue and perforation rate.The experimental dates show:under the condition of the spray range of 110.68m3/h,the wet seal height range of 1230mm,the water content of flue range of 5.56,the pH range of 8~9,the perforation rate range of 14.5m/s,the desulphurization efficiency can reach 98.5%,which is a good operating point. The results of industrial applications show that the desulfurization efficiency is more than 97%, and the resistance of equipment less than 1200Pa.We did some research on the parameters that affected the scrubber desulfurization efficiency.A model for desulfurization efficiency has been brought forward which took flue gas inlet velocity V, liquid-gas ratio (L/G) and absorbent's pH value as parameters. A theoretics analysis was carried out on the mathematical model. Result reveals that liquid-gas ratio(L/G) and absorbent's pH value have distinct effect on advancing desulfurization efficiency. Performaion velocity's elevation can strengthen the gas-liquid mass transfer in cascade-ring area and the in-tower desulphurizations effect. However, the main body of the total desulfurization efficiency is the addendum circle. The model get well along with the practical condition, which can be used as a reference for design, optimization technology and for extrapolation of measured pilot plant data.The dedust mechanism of wet scrubbers is analysed and studied in detail.The formulas for the fractional efficiency of wet scrubbers are given.It is pointed out that the main factors affecting the fractional efficiency are the liquid-gas ratio and the velocity of gas-liquid mix.This research provides the theoretical bases for the design and development of other wet scrubbers.
