By studies on the quality and scaling mechanism of oil field water nowadays, we find that the fouling of water is a complicated stage which is influenced by many factors. Comparing three anti-fouling measures, electromagnetic method develops quickly and used around for its less investment and acting swiftly. The studies on application, mechanism and influent factors of electromagnetic method lay theoretical and laboratorial foundations for posterior study.A credible and applied experimental device is designed and set up. By simulating fouling of oil field water, we use electromagnetic frequency conversion technology and change difference influence parameters, which include intensity of magnetic field, rigidity, temperature, flow velocity, pH of solution, material of processor pipe, whether exist other ions or not, to study their influence.In the dynamic thermal resistance experiments, induction period of fouling is an important factor that influents fouling. By analyzing fouling thermal resistance curves under electromagnetic function and different parameters, we find that their effect on electromagnetic anti-fouling are different each other. Experiments validate the effect of frequency conversion anti-fouling and we find influence of different parameters. Then we analyze and evaluate the results which have instructional function for later usage.
