Performance, Design And Production Of Anti-Static Clean Room Clothing

The working comfort, safety and healthy of workers in the electronic industry are paidmore and more attention nowadays, the research on the uniform of this industry is alsovital important. It is necessary to give study to the protective uniform-anti-static andclean room clothing, in order to design and produce the high-quality uniform possessingthe comfortable and functional capabilities for the electronic industry.A series of comfort and function tests are performed for the anti-static and clean roomfabric, including air permeability test, surface resistance test, abrasive voltage test, stablevoltage and particle filtration test. The study on the fabric provides the reliable data for thechose of fabric when designing and producing the uniform.The sewing and wearing capabilities of the fabric are also studied in the paper.Seaming strength of two different anti-static fabrics are tested, and the result of the testingis analyzed to give the request for the thread, seaming form, stitch for different fabrics andprovide the optimize processing for the clothing producing. In the study, FAST apparatusare used to test the compression, bending, and extension capabilities of 10 fabric samples.The tested data reveal the diversity between different fabrics. The reference from the dataand analysis is given to the designing and producing of the uniform.A series of experiments are carried out for the research of the clothing comfort andfunction. At first, the first hand information about action and movement of users whenworking is obtained, and the most typical action for the movement engineering experimentis found out. Then the objective and subjective evaluations for the fitting and aestheticperformance of the clothing are carried out to give parameter for the designing ofanti-static and clean room clothing. At last, a set of anti-static and clean room clothing isdesigned to improve the former clothing.The research in this paper accords with the practice demand of the anti-static and clean room clothing enterprises, and the testing data offer help and reference for the relatedenterprises and research institution.
