Air-jet loom has been widely used in practice by now, because of its high speed, high efficiency and low noise. This paper mainly focuses on the dynamic analysis of the four-bar beating-up motion of WG2000 air-jet loom.First of all, on the assumption of all parts of the mechanism rigid, kinematics'analysis can be carried out, thus kinematic model of beating-up motion is set up.In the following part of this paper, the elastic deformation of the beating-up motion is taken into account, and the dynamic model is established with FEM, then according to the Lagrange equation, the second order variable coefficient ordinary differential equations of mechanism can be set up. With mode superposition, the first three order natural frequencies of the mechanism under operating condition are then obtained. This paper also studies on the effect of structure and material on the natural frequency.Finally, considering the effect of pair clearance on the dynamic performance of beating-up motion, dynamic equations can be set up with the method of MLSD. To solve the equations with analytical method, then study on the effect of radial stiffness and damping coefficients on anti-vice impact of pair clearance.The research indicates that the movement of the four-bar beating-up motion of WG2000 air-jet loom accords to the technics of the feeler and the beating-up motion; Under the operating speed, the possibility of resonance is very small, and its design is reasonable, its work is reliable.
